First aid at work – 2 DAY REQUALIFICATION
FIRST AID AT WORK – 2 DAY / 12-HOUR REQUALIFICATION (FAW)
This First Aid at Work (FAW) re-qualification course is usually run over 2 days or a minimum of 12 hours contact time (plus breaks). To be able to do the re-qualification version of this course, you must have a current valid FAW certificate (please note that you have a 28 day grace period). You can also retake this course up to three months prior to your current certificate expiring without losing out. Your new certificate can be dated in line with your previous certificate.
This qualification is fully recognised by the HSE and after successful completion of the course each candidate will receive an FAW certificate which is valid for 3 years.
All students will receive a free first aid manual and will gain 12 CPD points issued by Branch Training upon request.
The course covers the primary elements of First Aid and consists of theory learning, followed by practical scenarios that are realistic to situations they may face.
This course is only for people who already hold a valid First Aid at Work certificate and they can take this 2 day course rather than the full 3 day FAW. You must have a copy of your original certificate and bring it with you on the 1st day of your course.
